- So I guess 30 years in advertising has to lead somewhere, right? You're either a salt or a sage. You either do stuff for the thrill, or for the deeper meaning. In the beginning it's almost always for the thrill. And then if you hang in, many times you find deeper meaning.
30 years ago I created campaigns for products that affected people's lives. Today I create campaigns for people in search of a product that will impact their lives. It's a much more philosophical approach that fits my style, my interests, and the point I am in my life. It's marketing with a soul. Marketing that has meaning.
